Is Threads worth it for a brand in 2026?
It is worth it for brands with a strong textual voice (media, consulting, SaaS, opinion). For visual brands (fashion, gastronomy) Threads still loses to Instagram. The audience has grown to ~250M global MAU — second largest microblogging network behind X.
Can I connect a personal Threads account?
The API requires a business account. It is the same requirement as Instagram via Meta Business Manager.
Do chained threads have a time limit between posts?
We respect the API rate limit (1 post every 3 seconds). Threads of 25 posts take ~75 seconds to publish in full.
Does cross-posting an entire thread to Instagram work?
No — Instagram has no thread format. The cross-post is only the first post (usually the "hook") as a regular post or carousel on IG.
Is there trending topic detection?
On the roadmap. For now we suggest the best times, but not trending topics — the Threads API still does not expose that to third parties.
